New Bus Services Introduced by Popular Demand

In response to customer demand, leading local bus company kinchbus has extended its services between Loughborough and Leicester.

The firm's Operations Manager, Jamie Cheatle, explained that the popularity of the High Cross shopping Centre in Leicester had been a major factor in the firm’s decision to further improve its timetable.

"We are always listening to feedback from customers and believe that an increasing number of people are finding that the bus is a convenient way to get to the shopping centre and Leicester city centre," he explained.

"We also recognised that Sunday has become increasingly popular as a day for shopping and as a result we have introduced a new Sunday timetable on our popular service 2 route, as well as more evening buses throughout the week."

In the evening, the new buses will run hourly between Loughborough and Leicester, with the last bus leaving the city at 11.00pm. On Sundays the hourly service will run between 9.00am and 11.00pm.

Added Jamie: "We are pleased to be able to dedicate extra buses to this route that has seen a dramatic increase in popularity over the last couple of years."
