Loughborough Gets Night Buses to Leicester

NIGHT buses are now on the roads between Loughborough and Leicester.

The direct Skylink service – an extension of the route between Derby, Loughborough and East Midlands Airport – will run once an hour every night of the week.

The buses depart from Swan Street in Loughborough – outside the Halifax bank – at quarter past each hour, and from St Margaret’s Bus Station in Leicester at five minutes to the hour.

The fare is £4 single, or £10 return for two adults.

The journey, for example, from Leicester takes half an hour to Loughborough, onwards to the airport after another 20 minutes, with a total time taken to Derby being under one hour and 25 minutes.
