Loughborough to Nottingham for only £1 on Kinchbus 9

Introduced in response to numerous customer comments, residents in Loughborough will now find it easier to visit Nottingham thanks to a new direct bus service from Kinchbus.

Introduced on 13 December, just in time for Christmas, the new Kinchbus 9 will run between 7.20am and 6.00pm, Monday to Saturday, with 12 return journeys throughout the day.

Jamie Cheatle, our Operations Manager, explained the Kinchbus 9 have been introduced in response to popular demand, especially for shoppers wanting to get to Nottingham’s popular centres at Broadmarsh and Victoria.

“Our customers have been saying for some time that they would like to see us providing a direct service to Nottingham from Loughborough and we are delighted to have been able to do this in time for Christmas.” he said.

As an added bonus to Christmas shoppers and other newcomers to the service, the company is offering through tickets from other Kinchbus services and special introductory fares. Single tickets cost just £1, return tickets £2, through return tickets from any location on the Kinchbus local Loughborough network £5, or customers can pay £5 upfront for 10 separate trips. All tickets are available from the driver. 

Jamie added: “As well as providing customers with a comfortable and cost-effective way of travelling between Loughborough and Nottingham, we hope the new service will make a contribution to reducing congestion during the busiest time of the year.”
