Derby is a city that’s really come into its own in recent years, with a shiny new bus station, the brilliant Westfield shopping centre and Riverlights entertainment centre.
Head into the Cathedral Quarter for boutique shopping, bars and restaurants, or catch a film or an exhibition at Quad on the Market Square. You could also see a show or concert at the Assembly Rooms or Derby Playhouse, or head over to Markeaton Park to enjoy one of Derby’s nicest green spaces.
