Roadworks on London Road, Alvaston – from Monday 7 July
We’ve got some important changes coming up due to resurfacing works on London Road between Spencer Street and Alvaston Park.
🛠️ What’s happening?
📅 Monday 7th July – Sunday 13th July
✅ Road open with temporary traffic lights
✅ skylink Derby will run as normal.
📅 Monday 14th July – Friday 1st August
⛔ Road closed daily from 9:30am to 3:30pm
🚍 During these times, skylink Derby will divert via Harvey Road, Osmaston Road and Ascot Drive in both directions.
📍 Bus stops we can’t serve during the closure:
• Wye Street
• Spencer Street
• Meadow Lane
• Alvaston Park
• Conference Centre
✅ Good news: we’ll still serve Blue Peter stops as normal by looping the roundabout.
🕒 Outside of the 9:30am–3:30pm closure, we’ll be back on our usual route.
